How do you implement a successful Change Management / Transformation Project?

  1. Ensure Owner / Director, Management and Workforce buy-in.
  2. Don’t call it a ‘Change Management’ or ‘Transformation’ Project.

  •  What resources are being made available e.g. a Business Advisor is being brought in to complete a full Business Review which will identify specific profit improvement initiatives, and this person will report directly to me.
  •  Timeframes.
  • Expected Outcomes e.g. Profit Improvements of $xxx from improved efficiency, reduced rework, better cashflow management, improved gross margins, potential restructuring, etc.

It is also important to make it crystal clear that this is not a headcount cutting exercise as the business cannot operate without a workforce.
