Gross Profit Improvement 101 Series Post 2 – Rework
It is our experience from using our Rapid Profit Radar Diagnostic, that approximately 50% of businesses that make things and 20% of businesses providing services have issues with rework.
The main issues are:
- Lack of or out-of-date processes.
- A lack of training or simply not following the processes.
- Plant and equipment that is no longer fit for purpose.
- Using out of scope or defective materials.
- Rushing.
